Isle of Man TT Race Winning Trophy won by Dave Molyneux 1993 Sidecar Race A
This very rare Isle of Man TT Race Winning Trophy was won by Dave Molyneux in the 1993 Sidecar Race A.
Every year riders from each class of motorcycle racing compete at the world renound Manx road course for the honour of winning one of these Trophies. The skill, dedication, hard work and bravery to earn one goes above and beyond most achievements in motorsport. For this reason these Trophies very rarely become available into the collecting market.
We have been fortunate to acquire a few of these highly sort after awards.
This one was won by Dave Molyneux, the most successful Sidecar competitor in the history of the Isle of Man TT races, achieving 17 TT victories and 30 podium finishes. His TT Victories place him third on the all-time wins list, behind Solo Bike racers John McGuinness (21) and Joey Dunlop (26). He is also the second highest amongst active riders behind McGuinness.
This Trophy is from 1993 where Molyneux teamed up with passenger Karl Ellison and won the TT Sidecar Race ‘A’ on a 600cc Yamaha with an average speed of 103.33 mph. “Moly” would go on to do the double that year by also winning the second race of the week.
This is a very rare opportunity to own these highly sort after prized possessions.
Please take a look at our other listings as we have a set of leathers from Molyneux also available.
