2020 Ryan Hunter-Reay Signed Indy 500 Used Andretti Autosport IndyCar Gloves
Race-used OMP gloves worn by Ryan Hunter-Reay in the 2020 Indianapolis 500. The gloves were also used in several other races during the 2020 IndyCar season.
The popular American racing driver is best known as a winner of both the Indianapolis 500 (2014) and the IndyCar Championship (2012). In doing so, Hunter-Reay became the first American since Sam Hornish Jr. in 2006 to achieve these racing milestones. Hunter-Reay also won in Champ Car twice, including at the famous Long Beach Grand Prix. In addition to his success in IndyCar racing, with 18 career victories and 47 podiums to his name, Hunter-Reay is also a regular competitor at the Race of Champions , as well as being a known Sportscar ace, with wins at the Sebring 12 Hours and the Petit Le Mans to go along with his podiums at the Rolex 24 of Daytona.
Hunter-Reay currently drives for Andretti Autosport. When Hunter-Reay initially joined Andretti for the 2010 IndyCar season, he was only signed on to drive for a partial season. Additional sponsorship was eventually found and Hunter-Reay was able to drive the entire 2010 season for Andretti. Hunter-Reay has since won both the Indianapolis 500 and the Verizon IndyCar Series Championship driving for the team in the iconic DHL colors.
Both gloves are signed by Hunter-Reay in black marker pen, and come directly from his personal collection.
