2020 James Davison Signed Limited Edition 1 of 10 Replica Indy 500 “Top Gun” Bell RS7 K Helmet
2020 has seen some of the most creative and popular helmet designs in all of motorsport. One of the most recent fan favorites is the “Top Gun” inspired, fighter jet helmet worn by James Davison at the 104th Indianapolis 500. This fantastic paint scheme was created through a collaboration between Davison and his helmet artist Mike Corby of Corby Concepts in Indianapolis.
The helmet emulates the design of the famous Top Gun’s movie character “Maverick” replacing the name on the top with “Davison”. When asked why the Australian born driver came up with the idea he said “I chose to do the design as a tribute to the new jet fighter canopy era of Indycar with the aero screen addition in 2020 and was super happy with how it turned out” The helmet was finished just in time for race week in August and was used only once at the Indianapolis 500 event. We are now proud to offer these and only exclusive to Hall of Fame Collection, James Davison signed Limited Edition Indy 500 Bell series replica helmets. This helmet series is presently being professionally painted by Corby Concepts and is now available for pre-order.
