2020 George Russell Race Worn Williams Bell HP-77 Formula 1 Visor

George Russell’s race worn iridium coated visor was used during the 2020 Formula 1 season. This visor has multiple tear offs still attached. 2020 was a unique year for Russell as he had an opportunity to replace Lewis Hamilton (sitting out due to testing positive for Covid) in arguably the best car on the grid. Russell would qualify second on the grid behind Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas. He overtook Bottas at turn one and led most of the race only to end up losing the lead due to a Mercedes’ pit stop blunder when they fitted his car with Bottas’ tires, forcing another stop to rectify that error. Then to top it off he also suffered a tire puncture forcing another pit stop. Despite all this he still managed to finish the race in 9th, fighting valiantly through the pack. He also set the race’s fastest lap and had been on track to win it before the tire debacle.

Don’t hesitate to add this visor from Russell to your collection. His race in Mercedes, many say, cemented his future with Mercedes… will he be driving for them in 2022? Time will tell.

This visor comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
