2019 Marco Andretti Signed Indianapolis 500 Race Worn Helmet
This striking helmet was one used Marco Andretti during the 103rd Running of the Indianapolis 500 in 2019.
Marco’s Indocil art painted Bell helmet has some of the iconic Andretti family features incorporated into it; including dad Michael’s stars and stripes around its bottom half and granddad Mario’s blue edged thick red stripe running down its front. The rest of the helmet has a metallic silver-blue/grey design that has a brick pattern symbolizing the nickname of the Indianapolis Motor speedway ‘The Brickyard’. This is on the visor cap and runs around the cheeks and sides. It is divided by an orange edged thick blue stripe running over the top and down its back where there is a red Christian cross in the center. Andretti’s name is on either side and the helmet wears the decals of sponsors US Concrete, Uni First and Trion. The helmet is as last used by Marco and still retains its radio, Hans clips and IndyCar tech stickers.
The helmet has also been personally signed and race documented by Marco Andretti.
This is a truly stunning helmet and would have pride of place in any collection, added to the fact it was used during the greatest sporting spectacle in racing by a member of the Andretti racing family.
