The car comes directly from McLaren’s Technology Centre in Woking, England, and being a show car, does not come with an engine. Otherwise, it very much mirrors the race version driven by Alonso and includes many original carbon fibre body and race-used parts.

Stoffel Vandoorne drove the sister car, as the two drivers achieved 8 top ten finishes, on their way to a ninth place in the 2017  Constructors’ Championship.
