2015 Max Papis Race Used Arai GP-6 Action Express Racing IMSA Helmet
This fabulous looking Arai GP6 helmet was race-used by the popular multi-discipline driver Max Papis. Papis drove in four events for the team: the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the Sebring 12 Hour, the 6 Hours of the Glen and the Petit Le Mans.
The Troy Lee painted helmet is encircled by white, red, green, and yellow bands. Around the top is a white band that has yellow, purple, and blue ‘Hot Rod Flames’ roundels to the crown. The main wide red band through the middle angles up on the side and thins around the back. Under this are two bands of green that also angle up. Inside these bands are Troy Lee automotive cartoon images. To the bottom is a yellow band that widens at the back and has ‘Take No Prisoners’ lettering and Troy Lee date signature. There are many sponsor/supplier decals applied to the helmets including Whelen, RE, Alpine Stars, and Papis’s own MPI. The visor bears an Action Express sun strip. Also on the back are the team’s race #31 and a Greg Moore memorial decal. The helmet comes as last used with Hans post anchors and airflow fittings still attached, as well as having its Hats Off device still installed.
