2014 Fernando Alonso Signed Race Used Scuderia Ferrari Schuberth F1 Helmet
Race-used Schuberth helmet worn by Fernando Alonso during the 2014 Formula 1 season while driving in his last and final year with Ferrari. During 2010-2014 at the Scuderia Ferrari team, the Spanish driver had tremendous success scoring 44 podiums, 11 of which were race victories and was 3 time runner up in the World Championships. The helmet was used at the end of the season and was first spotted in Japan.
Alonso is currently competing for the Aston Martin F1 Team. He won the F1 World Drivers’ Championship in 2005 and 2006 with Renault, and has also driven for McLaren, Ferrari, and Minardi. With Toyota, Alonso won the 24 Hours of Le Mans twice, in 2018 and 2019, and the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2018-19. He also won the 24 Hours of Daytona with Wayne Taylor Racing in 2019.
Among the many recognitions during his career, Alonso was named the 2006 Autosport International Racing Driver of the Year. He was also voted the Indianapolis 500 ‘Rookie of the Year’ for his performance in the 2017 Indianapolis 500. He was inducted into the FIA Hall of Fame in 2017 for being a two-time F1 World Champion and again as a FIA World Endurance Champion in 2019. This made Alonso the first driver to have been inducted into the FIA Hall of Fame twice, which is a testament to his versatility and success as a driver throughout his career.
