2009 Nico Rosberg Race Used Williams Formula 1 Suit
Race-used Sparco suit worn by former F1 World Champion Nico Rosberg during the 2009 F1 season, while driving the FW31 for the AT&T Williams F1 Team. In 2009 Rosberg finished in 16 out of 17 races, and consistently scored top-eight point-scoring finishes, achieving season-best 4th place finishes in both the German Grand Prix and the subsequent Hungarian Grand Prix. Rosberg would go on to score 34.5 points, finishing seventh in the overall Drivers’ Championship. This very impressive and consistent form caught the attention of the newly formed Mercedes GP F1 Team, who promptly signed him for the 2010 season, to partner Michael Schumacher.
This striking off-white suit is accented in navy blue and has main sponsor RBS branding logo prominently displayed on the lower sleeves. The Phillips name is displayed on the upper back and on the collar, and several other branding logos are displayed on the arms and shoulders as well. These include Oris Watches, Allianz, Bridgestone and AT&T just to name a few. Roberg’s German national flag and his name are embroidered on the midriff of the suit.
