2009 Jenson Button Brawn Racing Bahrain Race Winning Boots
A pair of race used AlpineStars boots worn by British driver Jenson Button on his way to willing the 2009 Formula 1 World Championship. He was driving for the Brawn GP Racing Team in their one and only season in F1. Button had nine podium finishes including six wins, which gave him the title eleven points ahead of nearest rival Sebastian Vettel.
These boots have been photo-matched (see pictures) to being used during Button’s win at the 2009 Bahrain Grand Prix. (Button was seen to wear other styles of boots for all other Grand Prix). It was his third win of the season.
The black boots have white back panels, side stripes and front flash. The leather Velcro fastening straps and boot sides have the AlpineStars logos in bright yellow. There is also the Jenson Button ‘Union Jack Buttons’ added to the leather fastening straps.
