2000 Dario Franchitti Signed Race Used Team Kool Green IndyCar Boots
Alpinestars boots used by Dario Franchitti for 2000 season while racing for Team Green.
The Scotsman had a more than impressive career in IndyCar, to say the least. He was a 4-time IndyCar Series Champion (2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011) and a 3-time Indy 500 champion (2007, 2010 and 2012). His IndyCar race record stands at 31 wins, 89 podiums and 34 poles out of 256 race starts, a tally which puts him in a tie for ninth on the all-time wins list with former teammate Paul Tracy.
He also saw success in Sports Car racing, winning the LMP2 class with Andretti Green Racing at the 2007 12 Hours of Sebring. Prior to the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, he joined Chip Ganassi Racing teammate Juan Pablo Montoya, Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas and won the Rolex 24 at Daytona in a Lexus-Riley
Franchitti has signed his name and Indy in black marker as well as as a V (likely marking them as pair 5 of the season) on the tongues of the boots.
The boots come with a Certificate Of Authenticity
