1999 Frank Biela Signed Race Used Audi Le Mans Suit
Sparco race suit worn by German race ace Frank Biela, a former German and British Touring Car Champion. He wore the suit during the 1999 season, where Biela abandoned touring cars in favor of joining the Audi sports car project. It turned out to be a good move, as Biela excelled in sports car racing, winning several classic events at the wheel of the all-conquering R8. This suit was also used at Le Mans that year where Biela finished third. He became one of the super trio of Endurance Sportscar drivers along with Tom Kristensen and Emanuele Pirro as they dominated Endurance Sportscar racing with Audi for almost ten years. This included a record three victories in a row at Le Mans with the same three aforementioned drivers, a feat that will likely never to be repeated again. The suit has a red band running around the middle with the iconic Audi branding. This is a great race used suit of one of the most underrated sports car drivers of his era.
The suit is personally signed by Frank Biela and comes with a full Certificate of Authentication.
