1997 Raul Boesel Patrick Racing IndyCar Helmet
This Bell helmet was painted for use by Brazilian driver Raul Boesel in the 1997 CART IndyCar series. Boesel at the time was driving for the Pat Patrick Racing organization, where he had a solid season with four top-five finishes including a podium.
This helmet is in brand new condition and was likely an extra “back up” helmet.
The white Bell helmet has a wide red panel that wraps around the middle from sides to back. There is a light/dark gold squares graphic design on the crown. To the upper front of the helmet is a large Brahma Brazilian beer (Bosel’s sponsor at the time) decal applied. The visor also has a Brahma decal strip. There is also a Lacta sponsor decal to both upper sides as well as Bosel’s name to both lower sides.
A great looking helmet to add to your collection, at a fraction of the price of a race used one.
