Original Bell Feuling helmet worn by Scott Pruett during 1994 and 95 tire testing for Firestone and Pat Patrick Racing. The helmet was put through tech at the Indy 500 where the USAC sticker was added but not used in the race which was Pruett’s final Indy 500. In 1996 CART and IRL split with Pruitt sticking with the CART Series which did not compete at the Indy 500.

Pruett drove for Patrick Racing for a total of 4 years and usually made the top ten in the CART Series Championship. In 1995 he was in contention for the Indy 500 until crashing late with 18 to go, having briefly led the race in the later stages. Pruett would soon win his first CART race at the 1995 Michigan 500 by beating Al Unser Jr by .56 seconds. His best CART career championship finish was in 1998 finishing sixth in points with three podium finishes and one pole position.

Pruett would go on to have a long career capturing 5 overall wins at the Rolex 24 plus an overall and class win at the Sebring 12 hours. He also won in class at Le Mans and was a series champion in Trans Am (3 times), Rolex Grand Am Series (5 times) and IMSA GTO Champion (twice).

His helmets almost never come up for sale and this rare Bell Feuling model will be a great piece for someones collection.

The helmet is signed in black marker pen and comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity.
