1995 Michael Schumacher Signed British GP Used Benetton Renault “Second World Championship” F1 Helmet
A very rare race worn helmet from the year of Michael Schumacher’s second World Championship while driving for Benetton Renault. The helmet was worn at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, the helmet is marked 95-12 Silverstone at the back of the helmet. Schumacher has signed the visor in black marker. The Bell M3 helmet still has the full radio installed.
A included Bell COA outlining the history behind this helmet in part it reads:
“The painting of this helmet was completed on the July 11th, 1995. It was brought by our F1 racing technicians from S.P.O.R.T.S. – BELL AUTO RACING EUROPEAN OFFICE to Silverstone (United Kingdom) where is was delivered to the Benetton team on Thursday 13th July 1995. It was used by Michael Schumacher in qualifying and for the race of the 1995 British Grand Prix (July 16th, 1995).
The helmet was then brought by the team to the next race where it was used as a spare helmet. It was also used in private testing. The visor was then signed by Michael and the helmet was removed from racing.”
Do not hestitate to add this race worn helmet from one of the sports biggest legends, as Schumacher race used helmets do not come available very often.
The helmet comes with a Hall of Fame Collection Certificate of Authenticity.
