1993 A.J. Foyt at Indianapolis Original Ron Burton Artwork
Fabulous piece of original artwork, in colored marker pen on black ink, by renowned Indianapolis motor sports artist Ron Burton.
This piece celebrates A.J. Foyt at Indianapolis and his four Indianapolis 500 wins. It has the images of his winning cars, from the 1961 the Bowes Seal Fast Trevis, the 1964 Sheraton Thompson Watson, the 1967 Sheraton Thompson Coyote, to the 1977 Gilmore Racing Coyote.
There is also an image of the great man waving to the crowd after announcing his retirement from driving at the Indy 500 in 1993. With the ‘Stars & Stripes’ in the background, at the bottom forefront is the iconic “Wings & Wheel’ logo of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway over laid by the ‘Super Tex’ home state ‘Lone Star’ flag of Texas. The work is on art board and measures 23 x 20 inches (58 x 50 cm).
