1993/94 Marlboro Team Penske Tara Tracy Worn Pit Suit
This Marlboro Team Penske pit crew firesuit was made for and worn by Tara Tracy the then-wife of Canadian racer and IndyCar star Paul Tracy. Tara would have worn this suit while in the pit area while husband Paul drove in the 1993 and 1994 Indianapolis 500 races. Tracy drove three times in the Indy 500 for Team Penske and it was in 93 and 94 his crew wore the red uniforms/suits so the team would have provided Tara, with this similar suit.
The mint condition Simpson suit comes in the ‘Penske’ red and has the teams Philip Morris ‘Marlboro’ tobacco logos prominently displayed. There is the series sponsor PPG patch to the right chest. Tara Tracy’s name is embroidered onto the waist belt.
An unusual piece of Team Penske Indy 500 race memorabilia. Made more appealing due to it having full tobacco sponsorships. The suit comes with a full Certificate of Authenticity.
