This original AJ Foyt trophy plaque was presented to Foyt in celebration of his USAC Stock Car race wins at College Station Texas in 1976 and reads:

June 6, 1976 A.J .Foyt sets fast time (and) wins Texas 500 in newly built stock car.

August 1, 1976 A.J.Foyt fast time in Gilmore /Foyt car #14 at 207.314 miles per hour , leads the USAC 150 from start to finish.

That afternoon (Foyt) wins sock car race 150 setting fast time in Gilmore Foyt car #28.

October 31,1976 A.J.Foyt sets fast time in Gilmore / Foyt car #14 and later sets fast time in stock car, coming in third place

Crashed in Gilmore/Foyt car #14 after tire blows, hits wall at over 200mph escapes serious injuries.
