1970’s Duke Cook Race Used USAC Silver Crown Bell Star Helmet
Vintage Bell helmet race used by USAC Silver Crown stalwart Duke Cook. The helmet was used around the late 1970s. Cook’s racing career started in the mid 60’s and spanned over twenty years till he retired from racing in the late 80’s.
This well used hand painted Bell helmet is divided up in three colors, red on the right side , blue on the left, with a yellow-edged white band down the middle. The helmet shows the wear & tear of racing, with ‘Super Cook’ lettering on both sides of the helmet and the remains of a star design on the left side. There are Bell and Valvoline stickers on the top front and chin areas, respectively.
This helmet was a part of the Ron Burton Collection and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
