1969 “Dayglo Glory” Mario Andretti Indy 500 Winner Artwork By Abriella Sammy
“Dayglo Glory” is artwork celebrating Mario Andretti’s 50th Anniversary of his 1969 Indianapolis 500 Win. This artwork was put together by the talented young Canadian artist Abriella Sammy.
The process Abriella uses to create such a masterpiece begins by painting an abstract ‘marble’ background. She then adds the image of Mario’s race winning STP Brawner Hawk on to the background to give a 3-D effect. Once Abriella has finished all the brush work she covers the full work in resin, giving the whole surface of the work a high gloss finish. The full size of the work is approximately 36 x 24 inches.
This is one of two pieces of Abriella Sammy’s artwork which was proudly on display at the ‘Mario Andretti Icon’ exhibit at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum during the 2019 50th year celebrations.
This is your one and only chance to own such this fabulous piece of Motorsports history celebrating the driver of the century.
